The Dodge City Globe’s Medallion Hunt is back, sponsored by Phillips Chiropractic & Physical Therapy Center! Follow the clues beginning Tuesday, July 21, find the hidden medallion, and turn it in for a $500 cash reward.

The Little Smokies Kids-Q Competition
Cheer on young grill masters ages 6–15 as they compete for bragging rights, cash, and prizes at the Little Smokies Kids-Q, sponsored by Koch Fertilizer.

The National Beef Smokin’ Saddles Official BBQ Contest
Watch world-class pitmasters fire up the grills at Southwest Kansas’ premier BBQ competition, sanctioned by KCBS, OKBS, and RMBBQA. A 2026 Dodge City Days lapel pin is required for entry.
The Centera Bank Backyard BBQ Contest
Local grill masters will compete for cash prizes and bragging rights at the KCBS-sanctioned Centera Bank Backyard BBQ Contest in Wright Park. This contest is for judges only, with no public sampling; a 2026 Dodge City Days lapel pin is required for park entry.
Boot Hill Distillery Bloody Mary Brunch

HIGH NOON GUNFIGHT
Experience the Gunfight of all gunfights at the legendary High Noon Gunfight during Dodge City Days! Step back into the Wild West as the streets come alive with fast draws, cowboy chaos, and live-action entertainment that’s fun for the whole family. This free event begins with gates opening at 11:45 AM, and there is no Ford Country free admission prior to 11:45 AM. The performance lasts approximately 30 minutes, with seating available on a first-come, first-service basis. After making its return last year, this fan-favorite tradition is back once again and ready to bring the excitement of the Old West to Dodge City Days.
